Die Studie ist der EMF-Teil der UK-Kinderkrebs-Studie (UKCCS), in der fünf Hypothesen zu möglichen Ursachen von Kinderkrebs untersucht wurden.
Es wurden Messungen in einer Wohnung durchgeführt, wenn das Kind an der jetzigen Adresse ein Jahr vor Diagnosestellung lebte. In der Publikation 4760 sind weitere Ergebnisse, die auf Berechnungen der Magnetfeld-Exposition beruhen, veröffentlicht.
