Interphone project

German: Interphone-Projekt
Japanese: インターホンプロジェクト

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) co-ordinates a series of multi-national case-control studies to determine whether mobile telephones could cause adverse health effects. Epidemiological studies are being carried out for acoustic neurinoma, gliomas and meningiomas and tumors of the parotid gland, the tumors that, if RF are carcinogenic, would be most likely to be related to mobile telephone use. Participating countries are Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and the UK. Here you can find the final report of the study.
