diamagnetism

German: Diamagnetismus
Japanese: 反磁性

Physics. The attempt of material to move out of the magnetic field. In principle all mater has this property, but in most materials it is superposed by other magnetic properties and therefore not measurable. So only these materials are called diamagnetic which really show this property, for example bismuth.
