Electric vehicles

Electric cars are vehicles that are driven by an electric motor using electrical energy stored in batteries. Electric vehicles emit almost no hamful exhaust fumes. They can reach a range of approx. 200 km. Electric cars can generate very high magnetic fields due to large battery currents and the electric motor, especially during starting and stopping. In electric cars extremely low frequency fields dominate, but intermediate frequency fields can occur also. Typical measurement values for specific frequencies can be found in the database of exposure sources.
