Extended-GSM (E-GSM) is an extension of the conventional GSM standard that uses frequency bands from 880 - 915 MHz in the uplink and 925 - 960 MHz in the downlink.

Frequency ranges:

• 880–915 MHz (uplink in the E-GSM frequency band)
• 925–960 MHz (downlink in the E-GSM frequency band)
