German: Fluorescence Recovery after Photobleaching
Japanese: 蛍光退色後回復測定

Biochemistry. A method used to study the lateral movement of membrane proteins and lipids and the membrane fluidity. An area of the cell surface labelled with a fluorescent probe is bleached by laser light. The bleached patch will gradually recover fluorescence due to the diffusion of unbleached molecules.
