Neurology. Named after Georges Gilles de la Tourette, 1857-1904. A neurologic disease of unknown cause that presents with multiple tics (uncontrolled behaviour), of the facial muscles, shoulders, and extremities associated with snorting, sniffing and involuntary vocalisations and unmotivated outbourst of fury.
