Main outcome of study (acc. to author)

A cellulose membrane was exposed to a static magnetic field in the present of potassium chloride (KCl) solution and ion transport through the membrane was masured before and after exposure. Static magnetic field exposure significantly enhanced the rate of ion transport. It is diffcult to analyze which elementary processes of SMF have influenced the experiment.
