Study type: Medical/biological study (experimental study)

B16 melanoma development in black mice exposed to low-level microwave radiation med./bio.

Published in: Bioelectromagnetics 1988; 9 (1): 105-107

Aim of study (acc. to author)

To determine if prior low-level microwave exposition (continuous waves or pulsed waves) has any effect on the development of B16 melanoma or survival times in black mice.

Background/further details

Melanoma cells were subcutaneously implanted in mice.

Endpoint

Exposure

Exposure Parameters
Exposure 1: 2.45 GHz
Modulation type: CW
Exposure duration: 2.5 h/day, 6 times/week, upto 690 h
Exposure 2: 2.45 GHz
