Guidelines for Limiting Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields (100 kHz to 300 GHz) guideline

Published in: Health Phys 2020; 118 (5): 483-524

Summary

The main objective of this publication is to establish guidelines for limiting exposure to EMFs that will provide a high level of protection for all people against substantiated adverse health effects from exposures to both short- and long-term, continuous and discontinuous radiofrequency EMFs. The guideline covers the frequency range from 100 kHz to 300 GHz and replaces the corresponding parts of the ICNIRP radiofrequency guidelines (1998) as well as of the ICNIRP low-frequency guidelines (2010).
