Setup Fitted into the removable waveguide wall was a rectangular sample holder that could hold 6 sample tubes of 17 mm diameter filled with 5 ml of medium which were circulated by temperature-controlled white oil and thus maintained at a constant temperature of 37 °C ± 0.1 °C.
Sham exposure A sham exposure was conducted.
Additional info A second identical sample holder for control tubes was placed into an RF-proof container.
