Cardiology. Part of an electrocardiogram between QRS complex and T wave. The ST segment represents the period from the end of ventricular

depolarization to the beginning of ventricular repolarization. It is normally isoelectric. An evalation of the ST segment is a sign of acute myocardial infarction, a depression is a sign of ischemia.
