Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying

  • GFSK
German: Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying
Japanese: ガウス周波数偏移変調

Communications engineering. A form of frequency shift keying that is augmented with a Gaussian filter for the optimization of the pulse shape during the change from one frequency to the other. With that harmonics and the interference with adjourning transmission channels is reduced. GFSK is used with DECT, Bluetooth and GSM.
