Orthogonal Complex Quadrature Phase Shift Keying

  • HPSK

German: Orthogonale komplexe Gegenphasenumtastung
Japanese: 直交複素四位相偏移変調

Communications engineering. A digital further development of OQPSK. It is used in 3G (Generation)-CDMA systems. This method applies sine- and cosine-modulated carrier signals, which are orthogonal to each other. As two bits are transmitted simultaneously better use is made of the given bandwidth.
