Pharmacology. Cis-diamminedichloroplatinum. Platinum compound with cytostatic effect. It is an alkylating agent and reacts with DNA to produce both intra and interstrand crosslinks. It is used for the chemotherapy of lung cancer and tumors of the genitourinary tract.
