Effects of ELF-EMF on brain proteins in mice med./bio.

Published in: Electromagn Biol Med 2009; 28 (1): 96-104

Aim of study (acc. to editor)

To study the effects of low frequency electromagnetic field exposure on levels of c-Jun and c-Fos in mouse brain.

Background/further details

15 days old female mice and 20 days old male mice of one litter were investigated.

Main outcome of study (acc. to author)

The data showed that the levels of c-Fos in the brain of mice exposed to the magnetic field were not changed after exposure (except of a significant decrease in the left hemisphere of male mice). The levels of c-Jun decreased both for males and females.
