To investigate the effects of a static magnetic field (SMF) on conduction in guinea pig spinal cord in vitro.

No change in response latency was observed during exposure. A small, but statistically significant decrease in amplitude was observed with a maximum 1 to 2 min after the start of exposure and turned back to baseline 1 min after exposure.
