No change of cell growth could be found at cells cultured in LB-media. However, use of modified LB-media (containing glutamic acid and sodium chloride) leads to a significant increased growth of exposed cells.
Investigation of gene expression revealed altered expression patterns between exposed and no-exposed cells.
