To study the effects of electromagnetic fields emitted by cellular phones on human electroencephalogram during an auditory memory task.

Without irradiation the power spectrum of males was greater than that of females.
Under the influence of electromagnetic field the power spectrum of the males EEG was decreased while that of the females was increased.
The data show that the effect of the electromagnetic field exposure is gender dependent.
