Baseline EEG energy of males was greater than that of females, while exposure to electromagnetic fields decreased EEG energy of males and increased that of females. Memory performance was invariant to electromagnetic field irradiation exposure and gender influences. These results indicate that electromagnetic fields may exert a gender-related influence on brain activity.
