To study the effect of 1800 MHz frequency electromagnetic fields on bone healing.
30 rats were divided into two equal groups. Fractures were created in the right tibia of all rats (broken by finger pressure); fixations with K-wire were performed. 7 rats from the exposure group and 6 rats from the control group were excluded from the study due to "bad" fractures, animal death or not analyzable histological slices.
