この研究は、GSM携帯電話・Wi-Fiルータ・DECT無線式電話などの無線装置から放射される電磁界電界レベルでICNIRPガイドライン値を下回る)を様々なばく露時間で与えた線虫(Caenorhabditis elegans)における影響を調べた。線虫は、様々な発達段階での同期集団を用いた。また、野生タイプ、加齢高感受性変異タイプ、ストレス高感受性変異タイプを用いた。結果として、どの実験条件においても、寿命生殖、成長、記憶、活性化酸素種、アポトーシス遺伝子発現に、ばく露群と対照群で有意差は見られなかった、と報告している。

研究目的(著者による)

The effects of exposure of Caenorhabditis elegans to different radio frequency electromagnetic fields (DECT, WiFi, GSM) on growth, fertility, lifespan, chemotaxis, short-term memory and stress should be investigated.

詳細情報

Worms of different strains were distributed in one of the following groups: 1) DECT exposure, 2) DECT sham exposure, 3) WiFi exposure, 4) WiFi sham exposure, 5) GSM exposure and 6) GSM sham exposure. Several tests with different strains (wild type, age- and stress-sensitive strains (DR1572, DR26, TK22 and RB864), model strains for neurodegenerative diseases (NL5901 for Parkinson's disease and CL4176 for Alzheimer's disease) and GFP-transgenic strains (CL2070, CF1553, SJ4005, LG333, LD1171 and CL2166)) were conducted in the groups. All tests were performed at least twice.
