説明:

電力が充電ステーションから充電しようとする装置まで、電線を用いずに交流磁界によって伝送される(したがって無線と称される)。この技術は、電気歯ブラシによく用いられており、スマートフォンや電気自動車の分野で急速に進展している。現在のところ、2つの方式がある。
誘導電力伝送(IPT)は、充電ステーション側の一次コイル振動磁界を発生させる。この磁界が充電しようとする装置の二次コイルに流れ込み、コイル交流電流誘導する。この交流電流が整流器を通り、バッテリの再充電に使われる。
磁界共鳴結合(MRC)は、誘導電力伝送のそれぞれのコイルにもう一つ共振回路を付け加えた拡張形である。高い効率と広い動作範囲がもたらされるが、電力制限が低くなるという損失がある。
よく知られた技術および規格に、Qi、Powermat、Rezence、WiTricityなどがある。
