[ラットの血液像および血液化学に対する100μTの超低周波電磁界ばく露の影響] med./bio.

Effects of 100 µT extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields exposure on hematograms and blood chemistry in rats

J Radiat Res 2016; 57 (1): 16-24

The effect of exposure of rats to a 50 Hz magnetic field on hematologic parameters and the function of liver and kidneys should be investigated.

Rats were divided into two groups (n=64 each): 1) exposure and 2) sham exposure.

ばく露装置の詳細 exposure device was a rack made of plastics (1 x 2 x 2 m (L x W x H) with five floors made of bronze wires to produce magnetic field; the top and bottom floors were made of 400 turns and the internal floors were made of 200 turns of wire; inside the device, a four-floor shelf was placed, which was also made with plastic in the center, and the height of every floor was the same as that of the device (?); two un-restrained rats per cage
Sham exposure A sham exposure was conducted.

No significant differences were found between the exposure group (group 1) and the sham exposure group (group 2).
The authors conclude that exposure of rats to a 50 Hz magnetic field has no effect on the investigated hematologic parameters or the function of liver and kidneys.
